Pop Up Banners or ATM Advertising
Studies have shown that the consumer is more receptive to advertising at point of sale. ATM machines are no exception! Most people in the world have a bank or cash card to withdraw their money from their account. At point of sale (withdraw) it is possible to advertise a business or service on some outdoor machines – this is usually ATM machine specific.

It is also possible to advertise indoor by ATM or Mobile Pin Machines (MPM). Nector and points card companies are examples of businesses that take advantage of advertising on or nearby card machines.
This form of advertising can be very costly because advertising exposure is on a national scale.
Q. How Do Small Businesses Advertise At Point Of Sale & Purchase?
A. In Store Next To ATM or Computer Transaction Equipment.
Signage near to POS/POP locations is often just as effective as advertising on the system hardware itself. Banners, leaflet holders, pop up banners and stack trays are cost effective alternatives to advertising towards paying and receptive customers in store. Other forms of advertising may be suitable for smaller businesses, however these types of advertising will need to be organises on a store by store basis.
Another great way to advertise is on the back of ATM receipts & purchase receipts – although this defeats the object of advertising at point of sale. Customers waiting to pay are ready to pay. After the transaction has occurred, sales and marketing advertisements are not effective at encouraging customers to make a subsequent purchase.
